A dealer has to pay tax and need profit so it's a good prise, the Ariel has some minor wrongs.

Hi Adrie,
thanks for the swift reply, I find it's difficult to know exactly what is correct and what's not on the military bikes I think the speedometer is incorrect can you tell me what else is incorrect, thanks.

According to my book it's made in 1941 in a batch of 3000, 1500 to Chilwell and 1500 to Ashchurch, some to navy & RAF.

The wrongs i can see are, hornwishbonebracket, frontstand, handlebar, grips, pilionseat and steeringknob.

Thanks for posting Vincent it looks interesting and was almost tempted but for the broken crank case and by the time all the missing parts were gathered up would probably be close to £5000.
£1200 and I would go for it.
But anything else anyone knows about would be welcome.

Graham.
