Gear lever - Sprint/Parade Bike

Postby DavidSage » Thu Feb 21, 2019 11:18 am

Gentlemen and ladies,

Can anyone help?

I am looking for a gear lever for my project bike. I have a very good aluminium gear lever which I am loath to saw in half.

I am hoping someone out here has an old rusty steel one that they could sell to me.

Regards,

David

Dave,

I am not sure which gear box I am using as I purchased all these parts on line.

So they did not arrive as a gearbox full of gears.

The shaft diameter appears to be around 5/8" - 0.625" and kick start looks the same diameter and both with around 36 teeth on the splines.

I can check gearbox for numbers if this helps.

Many thanks,

David.

At a guess it'll be a Leader/Arrow GB55...... ;)

Gentlemen,

Is there anyone out there with a spare rusty gear lever, I am willing to swap my good aluminium one for your rusty one.

David.
