If there's any chance your plug is too hot change it for a cooler one. Sustained wider throttle operation will bring it on. It doesn't help your motor to have it happening. Nev

. Any methanol or ethanol will absorb water as does many brake fluids. If I ride in rain I take the bowl off and flush it to clear ALL water. Some fuels will go "off" if left for long periods.(months) . Some later aromatic blends don't vaporise as well as older fuels so you have to tickle ...

How does it ride hands off? Lots of bikes need lower bar forward pressure when leaned. That's usually caused by your amount of trail. Nev

If you've had 5% going to 10% will just require the slightest amount of enrichening. Australia never had E5 but have had E10on 91 for ages. We even have an E 85 for high performance stuff. Engines run much cooler but need a fair amount of richening of the fuel ratio. You will probably find practical...

You only need a small cheese head screw but to drill and tap the hole straight and get rid of the shavings you'd be best to remove each fork leg and clean the inside thoroughly at the same time. I'd replace the seals as well while you are at it. Don't use stillsons on the chrome bits. Nev
