Re: BA gearbox not selecting 3rd very well

Loose - rotation or rocking operating peg 3. Collapsed springs 4. The little plates the springs bear on - I have seen them stick in t...

Re: W/NG - Clutch Pushrod

Aha... There is a ball in the pressure plate - is that not what Mr. Burman intended?

I've replaced the actuating arm bush and it's pin, intending to rid myself of play in several directions and make the arm work properly!

W/NG - Clutch Pushrod

Folks, Can anyone confirm how long the clutch pushrod should be on a CP equipped bike with a Ferodo three plate clutch? The part number is 3432-36; Drags site says this is 12 11/16" long; the one I took out is 12 5/16" and is belled at both ends. I've made a new one to 12 11/16" inche...

Re: Falling into Right-handers

How does it ride hands off? Lots of bikes need lower bar forward pressure when leaned. That's usually caused by your amount of trail. Nev It pulls to the left, slightly. Wheel alignment fractionally out? I've raised the tyre pressures to 28/35 which helps a lot. I'm considering replacing the fork s...

Falling into Right-handers

Folks, Returning to my SQ4 after months of tootling about on the W/NG, I am astonished by how powerful and smooth it is, how stable it seems now that I have sorted out the saddle nose wear, and how it seems to want to turn right. John Bebb suggested I have a look at the rear suspension, which I did....

I have an A with a chrome tank, from the factory. The despatch book records the original owner's desire for extra bling!
