Bike has now been consigned to Siliverstone Auctions, should be in their next (July) sale if anyone is still interested.

hi i think you would be better off selling it to someone on the forum, instead of paying a big frees for putting it in and selling it in the silverstone auctions :?:

This bike is a great machine with good history.

It was dispatched to Colmore Row in December 1951 as a MY52 bike. The late Ralph Hawkins purchased it in around 1983 as a non running project. I bought it from Bea (his widow) in 2014 and restored it. It is a matching numbers bike with it's original registration number.

It has had:

Stainless rims and spokes
Powder coated frame and most of the cycle parts
full repaint
new big end shells, regrind, new mains
Rebuilt gearbox

Much more done.

It won best twin at the AOMCC Annual Rally in Amsterdam 2018.

It will be a great bike for someone, I am somewhat sad that I had to part with it as a part finished project, but I needed the money to buy my first house...

Please note that I have no current association with the bike, but I would love to see it moved on to a club member who will use it.

It does seem a little cheap to me. They can be a pleasant motorcycle, perhaps a bit under rated by the market. Nev
